Three years ago, Palmallorcastyle started as a travel blog with short stories about places in Palma that I like, cafés, bars and restaurants, stylish shops and art, about street life and wonderful people. My articles have attracted many followers on the island and beyond. By and by I changed perspective, becoming more and more involved in the local network of creative and innovative locals. Today, 170 posts later, the blog has evolved into a kind of magazine about Palma and Mallorca. Time for a relaunch.
Palmallorcastyle got a new design. And it also asked for a Spanish name: Palmallorcastyle is Estilo Palma. Most things haven’t changed though: I am not a critic, I still focus exclusively on subjects that I personally like. Estilo Palma remains the platform where I share my passion for the island and its buzzing capital with a growing crowd of likeminded people all over the world.
Estilo Palma, the style of Palma and Mallorca, stands for an urban way of living on a small island. Conscious of the proximity of nature, the Tramuntana mountains and the Mediterranean sea. The region around mare nostrum has always been the place where different cultures and traditions meet, where trade and travel bring people together. Estilo Palma is an attitude of open-mindedness and curiosity.
As a devoted traveler I will occasionally share my impressions of other cities. In addition to my urban adventures you can follow me on cycling and hiking trips. Thank you for your enthusiasm, encouragement and feedback. Stay tuned and keep following me.
