Seattle is known for its creative vibes – local bands as well as brands from the hip US-west coast city are global players, today. And while the idea for this blog came up while I was visiting friends over there, Carlota and Javi, too, were inspired by Seattle’s music and atmosphere. So when they decided to open up a second-hand store about four years ago, they named it Seattle Vintage Store. The Space Needle on Carrer San Elias invites you into the exciting world of vintage clothing with a nice touch of American 70’s and 80’s-style denim, cotton and suede leather.

From jeans to jackets, sneakers to boots, shirts to shorts – take your time and browse through the racks. Have a look at the authentic decoration as well, you will discover many beautiful details. There is a cool display of base caps, plus an impressive selection of Converse sneakers in all kinds of colors. And a nice choice of accessories like sunglasses, scarves, various pieces of jewelry, belts and bags. On my last visit, I fell in love with a small, somewhat old-fashioned purse with metal straps, just the type that is becoming popular this year…

Don’t bother too much if you find just the piece of clothing for you and then it’s not your size. It’s part of the game: everything here is unique. That’s why buying second-hand is like a treasure hunt – you never know what’s to discover.
