*** La Molienda has moved to Carrer del Bisbe Campins, 11. Read more: So nice-now twice: La Molienda. And now they are even roasting coffee in their new café at C/ Arxiduc Lluis Salvador, 9a. ****
It hasn’t been all that long, since Miquel and Toni opened their own coffee shop in Carrer de les Caputxines. The name of this small side street of Carrer Unió has always reminded me of cappuccino – and indeed refers to the correspondent order. That one is derived from the other occurred to me only then. Today, the narrow alleyway hosts the smallest, yet maybe greatest café in town.
Have a seat on one of the colorful stools and use the free Wifi. Or just browse through the books and magazines that cycling aficionado Miquel collects in his shop. I really like the atmosphere of the place and the people who take a break here or meet with a friend. Most of all, however, I love the coffee. It’s just perfect: made with love, experience and the best ingredients. If you want a bite along with your espresso or cappuccino, go for a Swedish roll. It’s served hot and will melt on your tongue, right away. Mhmm!
La Molienda was a recommendation of my friends from addictgroup, Suso and Tony. And indeed, you get as much addicted to the coffee shop as to the men’s fashion at addict and La Principal.
