The medieval garden behind the cultural center of Sa Nostra is one of those secret places I hesitate to share. The backyard of the noble 17th century mansion is a true oasis, only a few steps away from busy Jaime III. Just walk the colonnade in the shadow of the old buildings and enjoy the peacefulness, or sit in the sun on the steps and marvel at the ripe orange fruit hanging from the trees.
Of course the museum is worth a visit, too, and I still haven’t tried the new sushi bar in the court. But the magical appeal of the orange garden (as I named it) is stronger. If you bring a book or an ice cream from Ca’n Miquel, the ice cream parlor just around the corner, you might want to spend the rest of your afternoon here.
